The Scottish Embalming Academy provides a CPD accredited "Introduction to Embalming" course, giving an insight into the fundamentals of Embalming. The course covers basic anatomy, care of the deceased, the embalming process and decomposition. It is designed for those with an interest in embalming, and could benefit funeral directors, arrangers and operatives to give a better understanding of the process. The course contains reading material and videos with an assessment at the end. A Certificate of Achievement is awarded on successful completion of the course.
