Scottish Embalming Academy

The Scottish Embalming Academy is a CPD accredited online training academy providing an "Introduction to Embalming" course. It is available worldwide. This course gives an insight into the fundamentals of Embalming.

 

The course covers basic anatomy, care of the deceased, the embalming process of a non-autopsy case and decomposition. It has been designed for anyone with an interest in embalming, and could benefit funeral directors, arrangers and funeral operatives to give a better understanding of the process. 

 

The course is online only and contains reading material and videos with an assessment at the end. A Certificate of Achievement is awarded on successful completion of the course.
